1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Parx, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Parx is a social fitness platform designed for calisthenics athletes to track training, discover parks, connect with other athletes, and participate in community events. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time.

3. User Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use Parx in compliance with all applicable laws and our Community Guidelines. You will not post illegal, harmful, or offensive content; harass or threaten other users; impersonate athletes, coaches, organizations, or Parx staff; share dangerous, misleading, or fraudulent information; organize illegal or unauthorized events; encourage unsafe behavior; or attempt to exploit the platform. Violations may result in content removal and account suspension.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post but grant Parx a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the platform. You are solely responsible for your content and its accuracy.

You may not redistribute or republish other users' content outside Parx without their permission. Using screenshots, recordings, or content reproduction from Parx for harassment, impersonation, or to replicate Parx datasets is strictly prohibited.

6. Intellectual Property & Platform Protection

Parx and its original content, features, and functionality — including platform software, visual design, branding, logos, and the structure and compilation of the Parx park database and community data — are owned by Parx and protected by copyright, trademark, database rights, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, reproduce, or distribute any proprietary content, data compilations, or platform materials without prior written permission.

You may not scrape, crawl, harvest, mirror, bulk download, or systematically extract any data or content from Parx, including the parks database, event listings, user-generated content, and community metrics. The use of bots, automated scripts, or data-mining tools is strictly prohibited. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform. Violations may result in immediate account termination, and Parx reserves the right to pursue any available legal remedies.

7. Disclaimers

Calisthenics involves inherent physical risks. You acknowledge that you participate in any training or activities at your own risk. Parx is not responsible for any injuries or health issues that may occur. Consult a healthcare provider before starting any exercise program.

Parx does not pre-screen, verify, or endorse user content. Content on Parx — including videos, insights, comments, and training tips — may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsafe. Parx does not guarantee the accuracy, safety, legality, or reliability of any user-generated content, and you rely on it entirely at your own risk.

Nothing on Parx constitutes medical, coaching, therapeutic, or professional advice. No trainer-client, medical, or advisory relationship is created between you and Parx or between you and any other user through the platform. Parx may remove content and suspend accounts without prior notice at its sole discretion to protect community safety.

8. Parks, Events & Community Activities

Park information on Parx may be user-submitted or derived from public sources. We do not guarantee that any listed park is safe, legal, accessible, maintained, or suitable for training. Equipment condition, lighting, and safety may change without notice. You are responsible for verifying conditions, permissions, and local regulations before training at any location.

Parx allows users to create and share community events but does not organize, supervise, or control them. Parx is not responsible for injuries, damages, disputes, or misconduct at user-organized events. You attend and organize events at your own risk, and Parx is not a party to agreements made between users.

9. Liability, Risk & Indemnification

By using Parx, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with physical training, meeting other users, attending events, and relying on user-generated content. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you waive any claims against Parx for injuries, damages, or losses arising from your use of the platform.

Parx is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Parx, its team, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of your content, your misuse of the platform, your violation of these terms or applicable laws, injuries or damages caused by your actions, or events you organize or participate in through Parx.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion, including scraping, intellectual property infringement, harassment, or attempts to compromise platform security. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Deletion requests are queued, become eligible after 30 days, and are processed automatically.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Your continued use of Parx after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Feed & Recommendation Design

Parx feed and discovery ordering is designed to support training utility over addictive engagement loops.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Parx shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
